Compact
Space Saving Design: The compact footprint of the ASX-112FR enables placement next to the host ICP-MS instrument for maximum conservation of valuable laboratory bench space. In addition, the ASX‑112FR is designed to stack directly atop the CETAC Aridus3 Desolvating Nebulizer to further conserve laboratory bench space.
Maintain Sample Integrity
Dual Flowing Rinse: The ASX-112FR utilizes a dual flowing rinse station, operable in gas peristaltic pump mode or optional gas displacement (GDP) mode. The dual flowing rinse minimizes sample contamination and carryover.
Contamination Resistant: All sample vials, racks, and the carousel tray are constructed of metal-free, acid resistant, high-purity polymeric materials. In addition, the ASX-112FR has an integrated enclosure to minimize contamination from the outside laboratory environment.
Flexible
Rack Options: The ASX-112FR accommodates rack configurations allowing operation with sample volumes as low as 500 μl up to 14 ml. The short style sample racks (0.5 ml to 2.0 ml) can accommodate 24, 48, or 96 sample vials; the tall style racks can hold 30 (14 ml) or 42 (8 ml) sample vials.
Sample Probes: Sample probes (3) are available as individual probes or integrated into the CFlow PFA nebulizer; probes are made of inert materials with an encapsulated carbon fiber support.
Convenient
Easy Access: The sample racks and vials racks can be easily accessed through a hinged door in the anti-contamination enclosure, or by removing the entire enclosure.
Compatibility: The ASX-112FR is compatible with many ICP-MS instruments, including multi-collector ICP-MS types used in geochemistry.
